Bitch Slap.

I don't understand why people think they can bully me when I'm at work. If you raise your voice, I'm gonna raise my voice right back. I'm not going to stand there, and let someone "get the best of me". I am human, and I'm going to defend myself. It's who I am, and I won't change that about myself, just to please whoever. So there. Bitch can kiss my ass.

So I think the whole Don Imus thing is being taken way out of proportion. Ann Coulter made her gay slurs about John Edwards, Isaiah Washington made his about T. R. Knight, and Don Imus gets the ax. Maybe it's because I enjoy listening to Don Imus. But are we supposed to everything that Imus says seriously. He's a shock jock, a comedian, I just can't see how anyone can be taken so seriously. Sometimes we just need to have better judgment, and realize that we can't take things in normal perspective, he slipped, called some girls some "nappy haired hoes". Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson scream he should pay some sort of fine. To who? Them? There are other things that we need to worry about. Um, how about getting out of Iraq? I hear The Rutgers basketball team is going to be on Oprah sometime next week, or maybe they've already been on. But I'm sorry, I didn't see her running to John Edwards aide when he was indirectly called a faggot. I'm not condoning what he said, I just think it's double-sided when racial slurs are thrown. We all say things we shouldn't say. It happens. I've always been forgiven. Let's make it a public affair, next time I slip and offend someone. Maybe Oprah will have my victim on her show. I can't help but think that if Imus had been of color, this wouldn't be such a big deal. That's just my opinion, take it, or leave it.

Imus you so stupid.

I seriously have nothing else to bitch about. I've been in this mood. I'm really been surprised by it too. I'm usually not as snappy. Oh well...

I think it's finally time for bed. Enjoy your Friday the 13th. MUAHAHAHA.

I agree and disagree with you. I think the others should have been held accountable for their comments but his are much more offensive to me personally. Just 10 years ago it was politically correct to call someone gay in jest....now its not so cool. It never in my lifetime has ever been okay to make fun of a persons skin color. He knows better and is now paying for his mistake. His show is not billed as an entertainment show so if he was going for the shock value of the words its obviously didn't work. I'm glad he was canned and hope his demise serves a lesson for others in tolerance.

where i come from it's against the law to use racial slurs. No one can call out or describe somebody by using the "N" word or whatever else word is used to describe that person's race whatsoever. Well that law was passed a couple years ago. Around the same time seatbelt law came in. lol But amongst your friends sometimes we do say it, that plus all the other words like Hos and what have you, cause we are human and we slip. I am most certain that that happens in the USA too. The difference with here is we don't use that language in the lyrics to our music not even in our plays on our so called acting stages or our comedy shows. When we have concerts no performer can use racial slurs neither the curse words on stage. They get jailed! For real. right in the middle of the performance the popo come get you off the stage.Just ask DMX lol. I saw on CNN sometime ago that Macy Gray was in Barbados and she used foul language and was charged. She then issued an apology and paid a fine I believe. She wasn't banned from ever returning to the country. Unlike DMX who said he would never return here lol but he too was not banned. Now this just goes to show that not us alone stand for such lingo. And we don't even have Civil Rights Activists. So all the entertainers who profit from such things should take a good look at what they're helping promote.
Yes Imus was wrong and need to be penalized in someway but others too should be held accountable for their slip ups. I mean come on people look how far the US have come. Years ago it was strange to see the inter racial coupling and now it's like acceptable. Continue on the positive road and don't go back on the negative. Just imagine the hottest rapper is white(eminem)and the hottest golfer is black(tiger woods). Maybe the world is coming to an end.

Why aren't people making a bigger deal out of what happened to those Duke Lacrosse players that were wrongly accused of rape by a black woman? Now that's something that changes your life. If I took to heart everything that anyone's ever said bad about me, then I'd be a miserable person. I don't think Don Imus was out to hurt anyone. He could have said far worse things. You can't allow someone's ignorance to get the best of you.

I can't believe it took MSNBC a week to decide they were offended. You either are. Are you aren't. They hired Don Imus years ago. Knowing who he was. I can't believe they would pump millions of dollars into his show, and not know who is was. He's been offending people for years.
